Dr. Annastaceya (Dhaniram) Hira, a Clinical Fellow, Paediatric Radiology from Guyana was presented with an award for “Clinical Fellow – First Place” at McMaster University-Medical Imaging Research Day 2024.
Appearing in the photo with her research supervisor Dr. Stein, Anna commented that she was, ‘Grateful to the IOP for supporting my postgraduate training at McMaster University [McMasters Children Hospital]. I will return home to Guyana as the first fellowship trained pediatric radiologist in September 2024 with gained knowledge/expertise which will benefit the children of my home country.’
